Why bother reading this blog?

Why? Because there are so many amazing living things on this planet,
and Bolivia is no exception.

When you go about your daily routine, are you the type of person that stops to smell the roses? You are? Then that's why you should bother reading this blog!

My husband and I are not biologists or botanists or scientists of any kind. We just stop and smell (and examine, and photograph) the roses... and the animals... and the bugs...

Besides, aren’t you just a little bit curious about what we’ve seen?
Even just a smidgen?

We’ve made this a bilingual blog so nearly everything will be presented in English and in Spanish. In every post (as you can see below) there is a link to read the Spanish version. You might improve on your Spanish by following us. So there’s another reason! Plus, there is a map where you can explore the locations of where we took all the photos.

Okay, one more reason. We need your help. Like I said, we are not scientists. There are some posts of flora or fauna that we couldn’t identify. These posts are labeled Help-Wanted. Add a comment if you know or have an idea of what it is. Would you help us, please? If at anytime you want to communicate with us, you can email boliviaflorafauna@gmail.com.

You won’t want to miss any of the new posts, so subscribe here to RSS Feeds or sign up here for automatic emails of the latest. Or you can visit our Google+ page or Twitter page and follow us that way. In any case, we thank you for reading our blog and hope you enjoy your time here!
